Tom Coughlin didnt know N.Y. Giants where talking trash

“Talk is cheap, play the game” is one of Tom Coughlin most famous one liners! However this time around his players must have forgotten these famous words and got a bit too carried away with themselves. When NY Giant players started bad mouthing the cowboys before a match.

Tom Coughlin apparently had no idea that his team the NY Giants were bad mouthing the Cowboys. It seems a little odd that a coach who should be totally involved with his team had no idea that the N.Y’s were provoking and bad mouthing the opposing team prior to the match.  Some of the remarks some of the NY Giants players made ranged from “there will be blood spilled” made from Pierre Paul’s to Terrel Thomas “you can put it on the board”. It was quite clear that the Giants were confident that they were gonna win… but maybe a little over confident winding the Cowboys up to much… The cowboys later won the game beating the NY Giants by 24-21. How embarrassing for the NY Giants. Maybe they should have done less bad mouthing the cowboys and more training. It was a very close match however but their loss means that the NY giants will fail to make the playoffs this season. Coughlin has said that he does not want his team bad mouthing others and says that he speaks out very strongly against teams bad mouthing other teams before a game. He also stated that it is important for a team to be solely focused on the match ahead. He says he will be reminding his team about exactl that the next time the team meets up. However this maybe too little too late.
