PRO CAREER: Rhodes played six seasons for the Colts (2001-06, 2008) rushing for 2,812 and 25 touchdowns on 702 carries. Adept as a pass receiver, he also caught 136 passes for 951 yards and four more scores.In Super Bowl XLI, he rushed for a game-high 113 yards, and scoring on a one-yard run as the Colts capped off a 15-4 season in winning the second championship in franchise history. During the championship season, Rhodes was the team’s leading rusher in the post-season with 306 yards in a back-up role. After helping the Colts to the Super Bowl, Rhodes left Indianapolis for Oakland. With the Raiders, he made two starts – rushing for 115 yards against Jacksonville and tallying 112 yards on the ground and 42 yards receiving against San Diego. For the season, he had 684 all-purpose yards in 10 games.
He returned to the Colts in 2008, rushing for 538 yards and scoring six touchdowns in a back-up role. For his NFL career, Rhodes has amassed 7,257 all-purpose yards and 32 career touchdowns. Those totals include 3,114 rushing yards with 26 touchdowns. Rhodes had eight NFL games with 100 or more yards rushing.
COLLEGE: Rhodes was a former standout at Midwestern University, where he set a school career record with 2,541 rushing yards and 29 touchdowns in just two seasons of play. He was also a JuCO All-America selection at Tyler Junior College.
PERSONAL: A native of Abilene Cooper High School in Waco, TX, Rhodes rushed for 2,193 yards and 35 touchdowns as a senior. He was also a state finalist in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes at the Texas State High School Track Championships.
